Today Martin Hoybye releases a new method book on songwriting on danish book publisher Turbine Forlaget. The book is a great introduction to the craft of writing songs with a lot of good advice and examples suited for both beginners and more established writers.
The book "Noget om sangskrivning" can be purchased from the Songcrafter Webshop.

Danish writer and lyricist Jens Blendstrup has done a great review on Langsyn in webmagazine Undertoner and the alternative music magazine Geiger also has lots of good words about the band.

Langsyn - album release
Today we release Langsyn´s debut album Ikke Langt Herfra (SCM 008)

Tobias Stenkjaer - new single
Songcrafter artist Tobias Stenkjaer is warming up for his next album with a single release tomorrow, May10th. The single "Constant Repair" has just been playlisted on DR P4 and will be sold from all major download stores from tomorrow.

Tobias Stenkjaer plays support for Thomas Dybdahl
This Wednesday May 5th Tobias Stenkjaer is playing a support gig for norwegian major artist Thomas Dybdal. The concert at Train in Aarhus is totally sold out, and Tobias will be playing a 30 min. solo set.

Tobias Stenkjaer confirmed for SPOT Festival
Tobias Stenkjaer will be playing a showcase at this year´s SPOT Festival in Denmark on Saturday May 22nd. The showcase is part of the promotion plan leading up to his next release - scheduled for September 2010.

Tobias Stenkjær on TV-Midtvest
Danish regional TV station, TV-Midtvest, did a 10 minute programme on Tobias telling the story of a 16 year old teen idol, who matured into a fulltime musician and producer.

January 29th
Amalie Riis is touring USA
Songcrafter artist Amalie Riis is currently touring California with her husband Brett Perkins playing numerous gigs all over the state. Danish web magazine Rootszone has just published a little article about her tour and DJBFA (a danish author´s organization) is publishing a tourbook from Amalie within the next few days.

From January 1st we´ve upgraded our manpower with a new assistent, Allan Langberg. Allan is an electronic musician and sound nerd, who´s very interested in all aspects of the music business.

Radio program on Songcrafter Music
Tonight Roar Amundsen has been invited to Aarhus (DK) tonight to do a one hour radio show on Songcrafter Music, talking about the company, the strategies and the different artists - and of course there will be plenty of music samples as well from our different artists.
If you´re anywhere close to Aarhus (DK) tonight tune in on 93,7 mhz (Mediehus Aarhus Radio) at 21.00 hours.
The program will broadcasted again on Thursday Jan. 7th 9 am.
