Langsyn is Danish beatfolk with a dash of rock og poetry. It is the sound of a trio which rattles and breathes, and the sound of three guys who have been friends all their lives, through the good and the bad. In the 1960s and 1970s Langsyn would probably have shared the stage at some point with Skousen and Skaloe, but in 2009 it’s downright invigorating to hear this straightforward yet still unique kind of rock’n roll. In one way it’s oldfashioned, this strong connection to the past, but at the same time it’s modern in its very own way. The lyrics certainly have a different approach to the Danish language than most of what is out today. The album "Ikke Langt Herfra" was recorded live at Sauna-studiet with Morten Bue (Figurines, Marie Key Band, Olesen Olesen) Langsyn is: Peter Butzback Larsen vocals, electric guitar and harp, Thomas Ruben Carlsen on bass and backing vocals, and Brian Skyttebo on drums.
